  • Query Designer - predefine table relationships and field selections, including automatic interpretation of flowfields, to create metadata. Queries can be used to support the Ad-hoc Report Designer as well as to create report models and data sets for use with Microsoft Report Builder and Visual Studio. NAV developers can generate complex SQL select statements with ease for any JOIN or UNION statement.
  • Ad-hoc Report Designer - use existing query definitions to generate reports in the Microsoft Report Viewer with automatic rendering of report information using dynamic Report Definition Language. Incorporate charts and graphical indicators to improve visualization.
  • Financial Report Designer - generate "out-of-the-box" financial reports based on chart of accounts, account schedule and dimension setup data. Pages, rows and columns are generated dynamically based on posted data. Supports non-global dimensions without any need to define Analysis Views. Drill-down into NAV from the Viewer as well as Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF.
  • Microsoft Visual Studio Report Designer - Pivotier enables the use of Visual Studio Report Designer thus allowing NAV developers to create complex reports using Microsoft's best report development tool. Using Visual Studio makes the C/SIDE Report Designer redundant as this more modern Microsoft tool can be used to design and run reports from the NAV client.

  • Microsoft Report Builder - Pivotier enables the use of Report Builder in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) which allows NAV users to create reports against their SQL Server data. Pivotier handles the tough chore of generating report models automatically from its Query Designer.
